Mungry LLC announces Open Alpha Test of Verndr apps
Four personal apps built around security, safety, privacy, and organization are now open to invited testers, with a fifth available as a free download.
Mungry LLC today announced the Open Alpha Test of Verndr, its family of personal apps. The Open Alpha Test is open now, and an invitation is the way in. People can request an invitation at each app’s request page, and invitations are being sent.
The apps in the Alpha
- Verndr Vault is a personal vault. Files are encrypted in the browser before upload, and the vault key is wrapped on the user’s device with a passphrase. The server holds ciphertext and wrapped keys.
- Eirvr Health is a private health tracker that uses the same encryption model for vitals, labs, visits, and records. It is not a certified health product, and Mungry does not offer business associate agreements.
- Klarvr Files deduplicates and organizes a file library before it goes into a vault. Duplicates move to a staging folder, and nothing is deleted for the user. The web app works on a cloud disk the user connects.
- Erindvr Mail sorts the inbox and turns messages worth keeping into records, with mail-filter rules that keep the sorting working afterward.
A fifth app, Klixvr CLI, is a free duplicate-file finder for the terminal on macOS, Linux, and Windows. It is available as a public download and does not need an invitation.
How to take part
- Request an invitation for the app you want to test. Alpha access is free to invited users.
- Beta is waitlist only for now. Desktop versions are not part of the Alpha, and people can join a desktop beta waitlist for each app.
- Request pages: Verndr Vault, Eirvr Health, Klarvr Files, and Erindvr Mail.
What testers should know
- This is an Alpha. Features will change and rough edges are expected.
- A lost passphrase cannot be recovered.
- Mungry holds account email, operational metadata, and ciphertext.
- There are no paid plans yet. Sharing links, a published audit, and native installers are not part of the Alpha.
